Pedestrian Dies in Tragic Crash on Pine Tree Road [Longview, TX]

Longview, TX (May 30, 2025) – A horrific pedestrian crash on Pine Tree Road Wednesday evening claimed the life of a person crossing the road.

According to Longview Police, the fatal accident happened around 10:30 p.m. near the 1600 block of Pine Tree Road.

Reports say that a pickup truck fatally struck a pedestrian attempting to cross Pine Tree Road.

Authorities responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
