Driver Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on 67th Street at Apartment Complex in Marysville

MARYSVILLE, WA (July 2, 2026)— A 43-year-old Marysville man died Thursday night after a hit-and-run crash on 67th Street in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

According to Marysville police, the collision happened at about 7:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of 67th Street.

Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital in Everett, where he later died from his injuries.

Police said the driver fled the scene after the crash. Detectives later obtained images of the suspect vehicle from nearby surveillance cameras and also received information about the suspect’s possible location.

Later Thursday night, Marysville police arrested a 55-year-old Marysville man believed to have been driving the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. The Violent Offender Task Force and the Region 1 SWAT team assisted with the arrest.

Authorities booked the suspect into the Snohomish County Jail on felony charges.
