Police Search Driver After Hit-and-Run Crash on Cincinnati Avenue in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 10, 2025) — A 68-year-old man sustained serious injuries Tuesday night after a hit-and-run crash on Cincinnati Avenue near Woodlawn Lake, authorities confirmed.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the collision occurred around 8:37 p.m. in the 800 block of Cincinnati Avenue, just east of Woodlawn Lake Park.

Investigators say the man was crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk when a sedan struck him.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid, leaving the injured pedestrian at the scene. Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious bodily injuries.

Police continue to investigate the incident. If identified, the driver could face a charge of collision involving serious bodily injury.
