Police Investigate Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash on Cloudview Ave NE in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (March 24, 2025) – Pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Cloudview Ave NE.

At around 10:25 PM, a crash occurred at Cloudview Ave NE and Tramway Blvd NE.

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and emergency personnel from Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene after receiving reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, AFR attempted life-saving measures, but the victim did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle fled, and APD is actively working to locate the suspect.

To conduct an investigation, APD and Police Service Aides (PSAs) have closed Tramway and Cloudview.
