Police Investigate Hit-And-Run Crash on Coors Blvd NW in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (May 22, 2025) – Pedestrian sustained critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Coors Blvd NW.

This evening, Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to a reported hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian near Coors Blvd NW and Central Ave. 

Emergency personnel transported the injured pedestrian to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where the individual is being treated for critical injuries.

Because of the severity of the injuries, APD’s Fatal Crash Unit has taken over the investigation. 

Authorities have closed westbound Central Avenue between 65th Street and Coors Blvd, and drivers may encounter additional road closures in the area as the investigation continues.
