Police Investigate Crash at Redondo Beach Boulevard in Gardena

Gardena, CA (November 3, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a serious pedestrian crash at Redondo Beach Boulevard that occurred Monday afternoon.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m., according to Gardena Police Department Lt. Matthew Hassoldt. 

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a pedestrian lying in the roadway with critical injuries.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to Harbor UCLA Medical Center for further care. 

The victim remains in critical condition.

The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, Lt. Hassoldt confirmed. 

No further details about the circumstances of the crash or the identities of those involved have been released.

The Gardena Police Department’s Traffic Bureau is leading the investigation.
