Police Investigate Crash on Interstate 20 in Dallas

Dallas, TX (August 27, 2025) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 20.

Authorities responded to a major crash on eastbound Interstate 20 at Mountain Creek Parkway on Wednesday that involved a Dallas County Sheriff’s squad car and left a pedestrian with a leg injury, officials reported.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a deputy was involved in the collision and was evaluated by Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel. 

The crash also struck a pedestrian, who suffered a leg injury, according to the sheriff’s office.

First responders secured the crash site and redirected traffic, advising motorists to take alternate routes while emergency crews worked.

Officials have not yet released additional details, including the condition of those involved.
