Pedestrian Injured in Interstate 45 Traffic Accident [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (May 24, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured in an Interstate 45 traffic accident early Friday morning.

The traffic accident happened around 5:45 a.m. near Almeda Genoa Road.

Investigators said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while in the HOV lane. 

Immediately, the medical team rushed the pedestrian the hospital, though, their injuries are unknown.

The authorities are still investigating this collision and as to why the pedestrian was in the HOV lane.
