Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Interstate 10 in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (December 17, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in a crash on Interstate 10 near Vail, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS officials said the crash occurred on December 16 in the westbound lanes of I-10 near milepost 286.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.
Despite lifesaving efforts, officials confirmed the pedestrian later died from those injuries.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the crash or whether any other vehicles were involved.
The incident remains under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
