Police Investigate Fatal Crash on West Main Street in Lewisville

LEWISVILLE, TX (June 11, 2026)— A pedestrian died after a single vehicle struck them in a crash on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Lewisville Police Department.

Police responded to the crash at about 2:38 p.m. on June 10 in the 1000 block of West Main Street.

Emergency responders transported the injured pedestrian to a local hospital, where medical personnel later pronounced them deceased.

The Lewisville Police Department continues to investigate the fatal incident. Investigators said they do not suspect foul play at this time.

Preliminary findings indicate that the crash appears to be a tragic accident, and authorities reported no known threat to the public.

Officials said the Tarrant County Medical Examiner will release the identity of the deceased after proper notification procedures.
