Several People Hurt in Frightening Collision on Shaw Avenue [Clovis, CA]

Clovis, CA (February 2, 2026) — A distracted driving collision on Shaw Avenue sent multiple people, including children, to the hospital Friday night in Clovis.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Shaw and Armstrong avenues.

Police reported that a woman driving a Subaru traveled eastbound on Shaw Avenue when she became distracted by her GPS and ran a red light. Her vehicle struck a Chevrolet that was legally entering the intersection on a green light with a mother and her three children inside.

After the initial impact, the Chevrolet collided with another vehicle in the intersection. The Subaru continued through a brick wall and came to a stop in a nearby backyard. Emergency responders transported all four occupants of the Chevrolet to the hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
