19-Year-Old Perla Navarro Dead After SUV Plunges over Carquinez Bridge in East Bay

 
Crockett, CA (June 17, 2020) – On Tuesday night, Perla Navarro and three others died in a car accident that resulted from an SUV careening over the Carquinez Bridge.
 
The fatal incident, occurring on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 at around 8:40 p.m, claimed the lives of four young adults.
 
Among the deceased is Perla Navarro, a resident of Richmond.
 
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
 
However, witnesses did report the Infiniti SUV veering uncontrollably on I-80.
 
Shortly after, it crashed over the cement wall of the bridge.
 
Subsequently, the vehicle fell several hundred feet off the bridge.
 
It then collided into a stationed freight train before hitting the ground near the water.
 
When authorities arrived, they extricated the four individuals from the extensive wreckage.
 
Immediately, responders pronounced all four dead at the scene.
 
Three others, Christopher Mota, Cecilia Ayala, and Kyle Erickson, were also identified by authorities.
