Person Dies in Interstate 15 Vehicle Crash [Baker, CA]

Baker, CA (April 6, 2024) – A person was killed and another was injured following an Interstate 15 vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

The vehicle crash happened at about 1:05 p.m. when a white Dodge struck a tour bus on the Baker Boulevard offramp.

Responding officers located a Dodge Ram occupant unresponsive. Immediately, life-saving measures were provided but the person died at the scene.

Another person suffered critical injuries. Two helicopters responded but were declined due to adverse weather conditions.

Minutes later, a ground ambulance took the injured person to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment.

Two lanes of the highway were blocked while troopers were investigating.

Also, debris was scattered across the road causing significant traffic disruptions.
