Injury Reported as Car Crashes into Apartment in Pierce County

Pierce County, WA (June 15, 2024) – A person was injured following a car crash in the Sunrise area Friday afternoon.

Officers said a car drove into an apartment and the residents on the floors above the unit the vehicle crashed into have evacuated.

A resident sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital, the driver, on the other hand, was not injured.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the car crash.
