Person Injured in North Monroe Street Collision [Spokane, WA]

Spokane, WA (October 21, 2023) – A person was rushed to a hospital following a North Monroe Street collision Wednesday.

The Spokane County Fire Department officers responded to the three-vehicle collision near the intersection with West Wellesley Avenue.

When they arrived, SFD located an overturned full-sized pickup truck with crushing damage to the cab.

Immediately,  Tower Ladder 2 deployed rescue struts and extrication tools and the rescuers created an opening near the cab rear.

The medical team then rushed the patient to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Spokane Police Department is investigating this collision.
