Driver Arrested in Oakland Pursuit Accident on International Boulevard and 35th Avenue

 
OAKLAND, CA (July 5, 2021) – On Saturday evening, a police chase ended in a crash on International Boulevard and 35th Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on International Boulevard and 35th Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle traveled at around 130 mph in a very unsafe way. Then, it exited Interstate 880 towards 29th Avenue with a helicopter on pursuit.
 
Furthermore, the suspect vehicle continued driving before colliding with a white sedan at International and 35th Avenue.
 
Moreover, authorities arrested the driver at gunpoint after the vehicle came to rest on Fruitvale Avenue.
 
The incident is under Oakland CHP’s investigation.
