Police Investigate Crash at 21st and Main Streets in Clovis

Clovis, NM (April 17, 2026) – A Clovis police officer was involved in a vehicle rollover crash at 21st and Main streets after colliding with an Audi sedan while responding to an overdose call.

Police Chief Trevor Thron said Officer Quentin Bryant was driving the police cruiser with lights and sirens activated when he entered the intersection and struck the other vehicle. 

The crash happened at about 8:45 p.m. on Friday.

According to Thron, the officer was on the way to an overdose call when the collision occurred. 

The impact caused the police vehicle to roll over near the intersection.

Officials said no one suffered serious injuries in the crash. Thron described the injuries as “only bumps and scrapes.”

Authorities have not released additional information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
