Poplar Bluff Woman Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on US 60 [Carter County, MO]

Carter County, MO (February 5, 2025) – A 21-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a 2-vehicle crash on US 60 Monday evening.

The traffic accident happened around 6:30 p.m. approximately a half-mile west of Ellsinore.

According to the investigators, the Poplar Bluff woman was driving an eastbound 2020 Ford Fusion when her car crashed into a towed unit being pulled by a pickup truck.

The authorities did not say what was being towed.

MSHP said the woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to a Cape Girardeau hospital.

The pickup truck driver, a 19-year-old Ellsinore man, did not report any injuries.

MSHP is investigating the collision.
