CAMDEN COUNTY, MO (July 23, 2026)— A 23-year-old Potosi man suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on Oakbend Road involving a pickup truck in Camden County on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Oakbend Road and Irish Drive.

Investigators reported that an 88-year-old Sunrise Beach man was driving a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado on Oakbend Road when he made a left turn and collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle operated by the 23-year-old Potosi man.

The crash report states that a hillcrest limited visibility for both drivers at the time of the collision.

Emergency responders airlifted the motorcyclist to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The pickup driver was not injured.

Authorities reported that the motorcycle sustained total damage, while the Silverado suffered minor damage and was driven from the scene.
