Police Investigate Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 265 in Marionville

Marionville, Mo (May 16, 2025) – A mother and her son sustained critical injuries, and the pregnant woman in the other vehicle died in a head-on crash on Highway 265.

The Aurora-Marionville Police Department investigated a fatal crash that occurred Thursday afternoon.

Police reported that an SUV driver crossed the centerline on U.S. 60 at Highway 265 and struck another SUV head-on. 

The female driver who crossed into oncoming traffic died at the scene. On Friday evening, police confirmed that the woman had been pregnant with twins, who also lost their lives in the collision.

Emergency crews transported a mother and her son, who were in the other SUV, to the hospital with critical injuries.
