Pursuit Crash on Blake Manor Road Led to Injury [Manor, TX]

Manor, TX (May 30, 2025) — A 17-year-old driver was arrested Thursday after leading a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper on a pursuit near Manor that ended in a crash on Blake Manor Road, leaving another motorist seriously injured.

According to DPS, the incident began around 12:45 p.m. when a trooper attempted to stop a speeding Chrysler 300 on FM 973. The driver allegedly refused to pull over and fled, prompting a pursuit.

The chase ended when the Chrysler collided with a Lexus SUV on Blake Manor Road. After the crash, the teen driver reportedly ran from the scene on foot, but the trooper caught and detained him shortly afterward.

Authorities transported the suspect to a local hospital for medical clearance before booking him into the Travis County Jail on multiple felony charges related to evading law enforcement and the crash.

The driver of the Lexus suffered suspected serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
