Pursuit Crash on Interstate 35 Led to Injuries [Kansas City, MO]

Kansas City, MO (November 5, 2025) — A high-speed police pursuit early Sunday left one person with life-threatening injuries after a crash on Interstate 35 near Vivion Road.

According to investigators, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper was chasing a silver Infiniti G35 for speeding and reckless driving when the driver lost control on I-35 South, just past the NE Vivion exit. The car veered off the road and slammed into an embankment.

All four occupants were rushed to a nearby hospital. One person remains in critical condition, while the others sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
