Los Angeles, CA (January 2, 2025) On Wednesday morning, officials identified 31-year-old Ramoncito Formoso as the person who died in the horrific pedestrian crash on 110 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal accident happened at about 5:20 a.m. on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck a man near Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.

Authorities say that Formoso, walked from the right shoulder of the freeway to the center divider and was fatally struck by a vehicle. The Medical Examiner’s office confirmed Formoso’s identity but did not disclose his city of residence.

Following the crash, authorities issued a Sigalert at 5:33 a.m., closing all lanes of the northbound freeway except the No. 1 lane. The freeway reopened at 9:10 a.m.
