HANFORD, CA (August 30, 2022) – On Saturday, authorities arrested driver Raul Michael Ibarra Jr. after a fatal DUI crash on 14th Avenue.
 
According to the authorities, the incident happened on 14th Avenue south of Iona Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound 2012 Chevy Silverado veered across the southbound lanes. Afterward, it collided head-on with a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced a 61-year-old female passenger of the Trailblazer dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed the 61-year-old male driver of the Trailblazer to Kaweah Medical via helicopter with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, officials arrested the Silverado driver, 31-year-old Raul Michael Ibarra Jr. for DUI.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under active investigation.
