St. Louis, MO (April 28, 2026) – Ray Hartman, 73, and a St. Louis journalist, lost his life following an Interstate 64 accident Thursday afternoon.

It was around 2 p.m. when two tires fell off a tractor-trailer, struck the median and went airborne. The tires then crashed through the roof of the vehicle occupied by Hartman.

Hartmann was a journalist for almost 40 years on Donnybrook.

Police is currently investigating the fatal accident.
