Morgan County, MO (May 7, 2025) — On Tuesday afternoon, a 22-year-old man from Camdenton suffered serious injuries in a rear-end collision on Highway 52 in Morgan County.

The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Highway 52 and Wilkes Creek Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Camdenton driver had stopped while waiting for a vehicle ahead to complete a left turn when a pickup truck struck his car from behind. The truck was driven by a 21-year-old man from Barnett.

Emergency responders transported the injured driver to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment. The pickup driver was not hurt.
