Rear-End Crash South of Kirksville Leaves One Driver with Minor Injuries

Kirksville, MO (July 22, 2026) — A rear-end collision on MO 11 south of Kirksville on Monday afternoon left one driver with minor injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. on Missouri Route 11 when a juvenile from Greentop, driving a 1988 Dodge 1500 eastbound, struck the rear of a 2008 Volvo XC90. The impact injured the 22-year-old driver of the Volvo.

Adair County EMS transported the injured driver to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
