7 People Hurt in Washington County Traffic Accident on Highway 21 and Franklin Road

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (March 10, 2026) – Sunday afternoon, a disastrous rear-end crash on Highway 21 and Franklin Road injured seven people.

The incident happened at around 5:10 p.m. on Highway 21 and Franklin Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe rear-ended a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse that stopped to make a left turn.

Moreover, responders transported three occupants of the Traverse, a 22-year-old woman, a 26-year-old woman, and a 56-year-old man, to a hospital with minor injuries. Then, paramedics transported the 37-year-old male driver of the Tahoe with moderate injuries, and his three passengers, a 7-year-old girl, a 10-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old girl with minor injuries, to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
