Rear-End Crash on State Route 28 Injures Driver [Quincy, WA]

Quincy, WA (June 5, 2025) —At least one person suffered injuries Tuesday afternoon when a sedan collided with a semi-truck in a frightening rear-end crash on State Route 28 near Quincy.

The crash happened around 1:52 p.m. near Road 10 on Trinidad Hill between Crescent Bar and Quincy. The sedan sustained significant front-end damage, and its airbags deployed. The semi-truck reportedly received minor rear-end damage.

Emergency responders transported one injured person to Quincy Valley Medical Center with a possible broken leg.

The collision temporarily blocked traffic in both directions. Crews later opened a single lane with alternating traffic before fully reopening the highway several hours later.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
