Rebekah Davis Dies in Harker Heights Collision [Harker Heights, TX]

Harker Heights, TX (July 1, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash in Harker Heights on Saturday night left 48-year-old Rebekah Davis dead and two other people injured, authorities said.

Emergency crews responded around 10:14 p.m. to the intersection of Frontier Trail and Beaver Trail, where a 2022 Dodge Charger and a 2019 Kia Sorento had collided.

According to the preliminary investigation, both vehicles were traveling near the 600 block of Frontier Trail when the Kia attempted a left turn onto Elk Trail and entered the path of the oncoming Dodge Charger. The Charger struck the Kia, causing severe damage to both vehicles.

The driver and only occupant of the Kia, Rebekah L. Davis of Harker Heights, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Dodge Charger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center for treatment.

The Harker Heights Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Team continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
