49-Year-Old Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision on Maplegrove Street in La Puente

La Puente, CA (June 7, 2025) — 49-year-old Reginald Crim lost his life following a two-vehicle crash late Friday night in La Puente.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to a collision involving a black Jeep and a gray sedan at approximately 11:34 p.m. near the 15800 block of Maplegrove Street, close to Alieron Avenue.

When authorities arrived, they found one of the drivers unconscious inside a vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later identified the deceased as Reginald Crim, 49.

The crash temporarily shut down both eastbound and westbound lanes of Maplegrove Street while crews investigated and cleared the area.

Officials continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
