Sanchez, now recovering at Harborview Medical Center with a shattered left leg, credits Esco as his hero. His wife, Lori, expressed gratitude for their brave pet.

Renton Police are investigating and reviewing dash cam footage of the suspect’s vehicle, which has a small sunroof and possible front-end damage. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them.
