Richie Thomas of Hemet Killed in Highway 74 Collision [Winchester, CA]

Winchester, CA (February 8, 2024) – 63-year-old Richie Thomas of Hemet was killed in a Highway 74 collision Tuesday evening.

It was about 6:45 p.m. when the fatal crash happened between Truelson Avenue and Winchester Road.

The paramedics arrived at the crash scene the location 10 minutes later and declared Thomas dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and was not arrested by the CHP.

Officers are investigating.
