CHP Arrest Richy Saucedo in Belmont Avenue DUI Crash [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (May 20, 2026) – CHP arrested 59-year-old Richy Saucedo following a Belmont Avenue DUI crash Tuesday.

Troopers responded to collision past 4 p.m. at the intersection with Belmont Avenue.

Investigators said a Honda CR-V driven by Saucedo was traveling north on Siskiyou Avenue when it failed to stop at the stop sign.

Sauccedo’s Honda then entered the intersection and crashed into an eastbound Honda Civic on Belmont Avenue.

Sauccedo continued driving and his vehicle crashed into a westbound Nissan Sentra.

The three passengers in Sauccedo’s vehicle, including a pregnant woman, sustained major injuries and were hospitalized.

Police said Sauccedo also sustained major injuries.

Moreover, investigators determined that Sauccedo was under the influence during the collision, and faces multiple felony DUI charges once released from the hospital.
