Rider Critically Injured in Rittiman Road Collision [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (January 18, 2025) –  A motorcyclist in his 30s or 40s was hurt following a Rittiman Road collision Monday afternoon.

The traffic accident happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection with Goldfield Drive.

Officers said the motorcyclist was west on Rittiman Road and was about to turn left on Goldfield Drive when a taxi turned in front of the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist could not stop in time and collided with the taxi.

As a result, the motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries including two broken wrists and a broken hip. Officers said he was not wearing a helmet during the accident.

Meanwhile, the taxi driver remained at the scene and was not hurt in the accident.
