Motorcycle Rider Hurt in Violent Traffic Crash on Highway 69 [Huntington, CA]

Huntington, CA (September 28, 2024) On Wednesday afternoon, 2 people were hurt after a Traffic Crash on Highway 69 between a car and a motorcycle.

According to the Huntington Police Department, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Highway 69.

Reports say that a collision between a car and a motorcycle in front of the Huntington Brookshire Brothers on Wednesday left two people injured.

Police reported that the car’s driver failed to notice a motorcycle traveling south on Highway 69 and pulled out in front of it from the Brookshire Brothers parking lot. The motorcycle collided with the car, resulting in serious injuries to the motorcyclist.

Emergency services transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital before airlifting them to Tyler for more intensive care. Authorities expect the individual to recover.

The car’s driver sustained minor injuries and was able to drive to a nearby hospital for treatment.
