Rider Injured in Broadway Motorcycle Crash [Eureka, CA]

Eureka, CA (May 24, 2025) – A rider was hurt following a Broadway motorcycle crash Thursday evening.

It was around 6:22 p.m. on May 22when the traffic crash happened near the Applebee’s restaurant near West Henderson Street.

Investigators said a 39-year-old male rider was traveling at around 35 to 40 mph when a car turned in front of him. 

The impact of the collision threw the rider from his motorcycle and he glanced off the windshield of the vehicle. 

Medical rescuers said the rider incurred a left wrist deformity and a contusion to his left knee. 

The rider was alert when he was transported to an area hospital.
