Rider Injured in Highway 160 Collision [Rio Vista, CA]

Rio Vista, CA (December 3, 2024) – A motorcycle rider was injured following a Highway 160 collision Sunday.

The motorcycle accident happened around 2 p.m. north of Highway 12.

Officers said the rider was hit by a vehicle and sustained major injuries.

Immediately, the medical team airlifted the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment.

In the meantime, officers are investigating if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
