Police Investigate Crash on Amargosa Road in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, CA (April 22, 2026)— A rider was injured Wednesday evening after a crash on Amargosa Road involving a gray Toyota Camry.

The incident was reported at about 5:30 p.m. on April 22, 2026, in the area between the Victorville Police Department and the CHP building, just south of Civic Drive.

Emergency personnel with the Victorville Fire Department responded to the scene and found the rider down near the sidewalk next to the bike. 

A gray Toyota Camry was also involved in the crash and sustained visible damage to the driver’s side bumper and hood.

Paramedics transported the injured rider by ground ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley. Officials did not immediately release the extent of the rider’s injuries.

The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities said the driver and any passengers in the vehicle did not appear to be injured.

The crash temporarily blocked southbound lanes on Amargosa Road near the scene while emergency crews assisted the injured rider and investigated the collision.

The Victorville Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
