Motorcyclist Critically Injured in NE Sunset Boulevard Collision [Renton, WA]

Renton, WA (April 15, 2026) – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt following a NE Sunset Boulevard collision Saturday night.

It was before 8 p.m. on April 11 when the collision between a car and two motorcyclist happened at NE 12th Street.

Investigators said the car driver was driving out of a parking lot toward NE Sunset Boulevard, at the same time, two motorcyclists were westbound on Interstate 405. 

One of the motorcyclists was hit by the car and the ruder was critically injured.

Police are investigating if speed was a factor in the collision.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed, or have information about the crash to contact Detective Lane at klane@rentonwa.gov.
