Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Bakersfield Traffic Crash

Bakersfield, CA (March 3, 2026) – 59-year-old Robert James Lambert lost his life following a Baker Street accident Sunday night.

It was past 8 p.m. when the fatal crash happened at the 700 block area.

Responding officers located the victim suffering from injuries and lying on the road.

They took Lambert to a hospital where he later died.
