Robert Pimentel Arrested in Highway 140 DUI Collision

3 Killed in Los Baños Head-On Collision

Los Baños, CA (October 15, 2023) – The authorities arrested 40-year-old Robert Pimentel following a Highway 140 DUI collision Friday night.

CHP officers said Pimentel was driving an eastbound Ford Explorer on the freeway when he drifted.

Pimentel tried correcting the vehicle, however, he crossed the yellow line and struck a Ford Expedition with seven people.

Unfortunately, the 67-year-old driver, a 69-year-old passenger and a three-month-old baby were killed in this traffic accident.

Moreover, the medical team rushed Pimentel and the other four passengers of the Expedition to an area hospital with moderate to major injuries.

Officers arrested Pimentel for driving under the influence.
