Gardendale Woman Dies After Two-Vehicle Collision in Ector County
Ector County, TX (November 21, 2025) — 76-year-old Roberta Hall Willhelm of Gardendale died from her injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Ector County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident happened around 4:40 p.m. at East Cottonwood Road and North Saddlehorn Lane.
Investigators say Willhelm was turning left onto Saddlehorn when she failed to yield and collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado.
Willhelm was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries and died two days later. The Silverado driver also went to the hospital with minor injuries.
DPS continues to investigate the crash.
