Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on US 90 Injures Passenger
Medina County, TX (February 19, 2026) – A Toyota driver, Roberto Mares Jr, was killed in a US 90 2-vehicle crash before Tuesday noon.
It was around 11 a.m. when the deadly crash happened near mile marker 520.
Troopers said a Chevrolet Colorado attempted to change lanes but struck a trailer being towed by a Toyota Tundra.
As a result, the Toyota lost control and rolled over. Its driver, Roberto Mares Jr., was killed at the scene.
A 54-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Toyota, was transported to a San Antonio hospital.
The driver of the Chevrolet’s was not hurt in the accident.
In the meantime, officers are still investigating this collision.
