Rodrigo Hernandez Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Parkridge Avenue [Corona, CA]

Corona, CA (October 22, 2023) On Saturday evening, 40-year-old Rodrigo Hernandez was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Parkridge Avenue.

According to the Corona Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 10:10 p.m. on the 200 block of E. Parkridge Avenue.

Reports say that Hernandez was found lying on the roadway with significant injuries and surrounded by vehicle debris.

Officials say that the found a vehicle with damage consistent with the collision, on the 300 block of N. McKinley Street. Police say that the driver of the vehicle, identified as 53-year-old Samuel Reyes of Riverside.

Police arrested Reyes on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, officials say that Reyes was later released.

Authorities are investigating the fatal DUI crash and have not released further information at this time.
