Van Driver Injured in Rollover Crash After Running Red Light in Valencia
Valencia, CA (June 13, 2025) On Thursday afternoon, a person suffered injuries after a horrific rollover accident near McBean Parkway.
According to authorities, the shocking incident happened around 12:08 p.m. near McBean Parkway and Valencia Boulevard.
Reports say that a van driver sustained injuries and required hospital transport following the rollover crash.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters arrived shortly after dispatch and extricated the driver from a white van that had overturned and landed on its side, facing against traffic.
They cut through the van’s windshield and roof to reach the injured occupant.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the van collided with another vehicle before losing control and rolling over. Deputies from the station also responded to the multi-vehicle incident.
Authorities transported the van driver to the hospital in an unknown condition. Investigators confirmed that intoxication did not contribute to the crash and classified the collision as accidental.
Let’s Drive Safer Together
High-speed crashes can occur in the blink of an eye, but so many are preventable with small, intelligent decisions. Pay attention, don’t get distracted (say, by texting) and never drive after drinking. As ever – obey speed limits, buckle up and keep plenty of room between yourself and other vehicles. These are small enough measures to save lives — including your own.
We can all take steps to help keep our roads safe for ourselves, our families and our communities.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a traffic accident, seek medical care immediately and consider consulting with legal professionals to understand your rights. Stay alert at intersections and always follow traffic signals to help prevent serious crashes.
Steps to Take When You’ve Been in a Car Accident
If you get into a traffic accident, it can be a frightening situation and many people do not know what to do afterwards, which may have a big impact on your safety as well as your rights.
First, assess yourself and others for injuries. If anyone is hurt, call 911 immediately. If you can move your vehicle, do so in a safe location, and put on your hazard lights to warn other drivers. Exchange details with the other driver such as names, numbers, insurance company information, and license plate numbers. (And if there are witnesses nearby, try to get their information, too.)
Photograph the scene, damage to the vehicles and any injuries. If the damage appears to be minor, document everything anyway.
Then get medical care — even if you feel fine. Some injuries can have a delayed presentation. Lastly, reach out to a seasoned personal injury lawyer, such as the Sweet Lawyers. They’ll explain your legal rights and navigate the insurance claims process, so you can focus on what’s most important.
Those minutes after a crash are critical. Staying calm, acting swiftly and figuring out what kind of aid is available could help protect your health, your finances and your future.
