Frightening Rollover Crash on Highway 128 Injures 2 Men [Napa County, CA]

Napa County, CA (April 11, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 128 left 2 Fairfield men hurt and hospitalized.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the solo-vehicle crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Highway 128 northwest of Moskowite Corner.

Reports say that a high-speeding 2001 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by a 20-year-old man who lost control of the vehicle when it reached a curve on Old Capell Valley Road.

Officials say that the vehicle hit a dirt embankment rolled over multiple times and ended up in the southbound lane.

CHP says that the driver sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center by a CHP air ambulance. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old male passenger on the Chevy was taken to the Queen by American Medical Response ambulance.

Authorities say that one of the patients was trapped and was extricated out of the vehicle before they were taken to the hospital.

CHP is investigating the solo-vehicle crash.
