Two Killed in Rollover Collision on 60 Freeway in East Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (November 29, 2025) — On Wednesday evening, 2 people were killed in a tragic rollover crash on Highway 60 in East Los Angeles.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened around 6:30 p.m. on the westbound 60 Freeway, just east of the 710 interchange.

When officers arrived, they found one person had been thrown from the vehicle. Paramedics rushed the second victim to a hospital, where that individual later died. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the rollover.

The crash forced CHP to issue a SigAlert, shutting down multiple westbound lanes and creating long traffic backups. Drivers were urged to use alternate routes until crews finished their work. All lanes reopened shortly after 9 p.m.

Authorities have not yet released the victims’ names.
