Injuries Reported in Templeton Auto Accident on Northbound Highway 101

TEMPLETON, CA (February 9, 2026) – Saturday morning, a startling rollover crash on northbound Highway 101 injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 11:50 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 near Templeton.

A man was seen climbing out of an overturned white Tesla, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log. Cal Fire spokesperson Eva Grady said two people suffered minor injuries after the vehicle rolled into a guardrail. Templeton Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The Tesla sustained major damage. Fire crews cleared the area, but traffic remained slow as of 12:30 p.m.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
