Frightening Rollover Crash on Skyway Injures Driver [Chico, CA]

Chico, CA (June 9, 2025) — On Saturday afternoon, a driver sustained minor to moderate injuries after a rollover crash on Skyway near Spanish Gardens in Chico.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 2:49 p.m. and found the vehicle resting on its roof in the median along the eastbound side of the roadway.

Paramedics transported the driver to Enloe Medical Center for treatment. Several motorists stopped near the crash site as first responders worked to secure the area and assist the injured driver.

Authorities called in a towing company to remove the overturned vehicle. The incident temporarily disrupted traffic on the westbound side of Skyway while crews cleared the scene.
